AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – EAST OF ENGLAND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
Part Time / Full Time

An exciting new position at the East of England Agricultural Society, Peterborough.

The Role

  • To develop the agricultural content of events on the Showground for Society Members
  • To develop new agricultural initiatives for Members throughout the region
  • To enhance delivery of the Society’s Farm Business Awards and Smithfield Festival

 This new position will suit a person with excellent agricultural knowledge and industry contacts prepared to take a pro-active approach to putting agriculture back in the heart of the Society. The successful person will be a confident self-starter with good inter-personal skills.

As a thank you to our members, we invite you to relax and take in the day from your base in the Northampton Suite, which will be open exclusively to members on both days of LAMMA. Tea and coffee will be available all day.
 

 

LET THE TRAFFIC GO AND ENJOY A DRINK WITH US…

17:30-19:00: Wednesday 21st January
Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available to enjoy, and after close of the show on Wednesday 21st, you are invited to bring two guests and unwind with a FREE drink from the bar, courtesy of your membership with the Society.

 

BREAKFAST ON THE SOCIETY

08:00-10:00: Wednesday 21st January

The Agricultural Society is pleased to announce a breakfast with a twist for our members on the first morning of LAMMA this January.

Sir Peter Kendall, NFU Director, will be on hand as guest speaker, when you can have a morning meet-up with fellow members, all in the comfort of the Northampton Suite, located adjacent to the Fitzwilliam Stand.

FREETickets are limited at 30 places, and we recommend booking quickly to avoid disappointment.

 

PRIME PARKING FOR MEMBERS ONLY

Wednesday 21st-Thursday 22nd January

There is absolutely no need for members to struggle at this year’s LAMMA Show. Limited forward parking will be available for members of the Agricultural Society. A hard standing parking zone will be accessible for members using complimentary passes.

New Year’s Honours List Honours Mr David Reynolds with OBE

Mr David Reynolds, Camgrain director, was this week awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours List.

Member of council and former Chairman Mr Reynolds, received his award for services to Agriculture and the community in the East Midlands. 

On behalf of the East of England Agricultural Society, we would like to congratulate Mr Reynolds on this wonderful award.
