Farm Business Awards 2011

Judging commence Monday 6th June

The East of England Farm Business Awards celebrate the achievements, innovations and hard work which go into local farming businesses.

Entering the Awards will give you, your family and your staff the recognition you deserve and possible doors to new industry contacts and clients, plus PR and marketing for your business in and around your local area. The Awards are free to enter and have cash prizes and trophies for class winners. Class sections include management, crops, livestock and countryside management.

There are also two special awards. The Countryside Management Award encourages farms to detail their environmental practices. The Special Enterprise Award recognises new and innovative approaches to maximising income. There is also an award for the best first time entrant.

Here's what the judges had to say about the 2010 Awards...

"We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of judging with you. The competition was extremely well organised and your hospitality, most generous.

"We hope the contestants valued the experience and would not be shy of entering again - the standard was very high."

"I would like to thank the East of England Agricultural Society for the opportunity to take part in the recent judging of the 2010 Farm Business Awards. I found the two days very enjoyable and stimulating."
