Addington Fund was set up in 2001 as the Churches’ response to Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), when it distributed grants totalling £10.3 million to over 22,000 applicants. With our focus now on rural housing, we provide homes for families needing to leave or retire from the agricultural industry. In times of emergency and where hardship is evident, we continue to support viable farming families experiencing financial hardship through our Trustee’s Discretionary Fund.
