Due to the recently tightened Covid-19 restrictions, this year’s East of England Farming Conference has been cancelled.
“It is a decision taken with deep regret, especially given our outstanding line-up of speakers together with the strong support from sponsors and trade stands,” said Tom Martin, chairman of the Conference’s organising committee.
The East of England Arena and Events Centre, venue for this year’s Conference, has been at the forefront of gaining Covid-secure status and industry holding the UK’s first large-scale outdoor event in late August. However, the announcement on 22 September stating indoor events will not be able to take place from the 1st October has made it impossible to hold a physical event this year.
The organising committee is now turning its attention to next year and aims to hold a conference on 11 November 2021.
