Siân Bushell is a trained facilitator who helps family businesses develop succession plans. Many of her clients are farmers because of her long experience in agriculture, and her training as a Family Farm Business Facilitator, helping to develop farm succession plans. However her skills are equally useful for family run hotels, shops or any business which is run by family members.
Francis has been advising individuals, families and their businesses on UK tax matters for almost 25 years. In this time, he has acquired a unique in-depth knowledge of the ever-changing UK tax system. Francis uses this knowledge to advise on a range of tax matters, including helping family businesses with their succession planning and to resolve their Inheritance Tax concerns.
Clare, whose family has an agricultural background, has a keen interest in assisting farming families and land owners and is a member of CLA (Country Land and Business Association) and a fellow of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA).
An Associate in our Private Client team, Clare’s work includes drafting tax efficient and flexible wills, family settlements, ancillary trust documents and lasting powers of attorney, dealing with the administration of estates and advising on general estate planning, including succession planning. Clare recognises the importance of working with clients (in conjunction with their other advisers where appropriate) to ensure their needs are understood and the best possible solution is found in the most time and cost efficient manner.
