Exciting new partnership for the Society

By 12th August 2020News

The East of England Agricultural Society is pleased to announce a new partnership with the GWCT Allerton Research Project, based at Loddington, Leicestershire.

After the success of our first evening talk on 29 July 2020, we look forward to welcoming Phil Jarvis, Head of Farming at GWCT Allerton Research Project and Chris Stoate, GWCT Head of Research for our next evening talk on 19 August 2020 to kickstart our newly formed partnership.

Our first talk looks to explore the history of the Allerton site along with their practical thoughts regarding climate-friendly farming. We will also be welcoming back Phil in the upcoming weeks in addition to Dr Alastair Leake GWCT Director of Policy and Allerton as we hold two more evening talks to explore net-zero, biodiversity, carbon and a range of other topics.

To learn more about our new partnership and how we will be working together beyond the evening talks, take a moment to watch the video below with Phil Jarvis and East of England Agricultural Society Vice Chairman, Charlie Reynolds.
