Willow Maze given winter MOT by hard-working volunteers

Kids Country volunteers, with the professional guidance and help from the experts at Nene Coppicing and Crafts, and the brilliant corporate teams from Caterpillar and MyFresh, have given our willow maze a winter MOT.

It has meant five days of hard work, cutting back and weaving, in not always the kindest weather. However, it has been carried out with great enthusiasm.

Volunteers weave intricate patterns

The maze looks bare at the moment, although, without the leaves, there are some intricately weaved patterns on show. By the end of May/early June our hard work will have paid off and our maze will be fully grown and ready for the children to use at several of our events.

Thank you once again to everyone involved in helping us with this project.
