The East of England Agricultural Society is passionate about supporting our local food producers and celebrating the best of British Farming. But, buying British food doesn’t just mean you are supporting local farmers and their communities, it also means you can enjoy the wide range of diverse foods that are produced in our seasonal climate.

Countryside Online is an element of the NFU that aims to inspire everyone about rural life as well as inform them about food provenance and how you can back British farming. Jenny Jefferies is South Cambridgeshire based farmer’s wife with a passion for celebrating food produced in the UK and its waters. She has now produced two cookbooks, ‘For The Love Of The Land’ and ‘For The Love Of The Sea’, both featuring recipes contributed by individuals up and down the British Isles.
