We are delighted to be reintroducing a Farm Walk to the Society Calendar. We kick things off over in Northamptonshire at Althorp Estate.
The Spencer family have been farming at Althorp for over 500 years. At present, Althorp are in the process of moving to an organic system, looking to take a regenerative approach to their farming. The farm works with Wildfarmed, with some of the land given over to growing wheat using its pioneering system.
The farm is a mixed enterprise that includes 100 head of cattle, with plans for future livestock diversification enterprises.
