Secure the next generation of fresh produce talent this November, and gain an unprecedented insight into the agritech innovations needed to safeguard the future of our food supply.
The Fresh Produce Consortium’s (FPC) specialised recruitment fair FPC Careers will run alongside FPC Future once again this year when it takes place on 3 November at the East of England Arena and Events Centre in Peterborough.
The annual careers drive provides an unparalleled opportunity for employers to secure the next generation of talent needed to drive forward the food, fresh produce and floral industries.
Exhibitors and sponsors will connect with the best and brightest jobseekers, forge important relationships with tutors from UK academic institutions, and meet with industry-specific recruitment agencies.
All food, fresh produce and cut flower growers, producers, logistics providers, foodservice operators, retailers, labour providers, hospitality operators and other related sectors are welcome. Exhibitors can bring up to four team members on the day, and access sister event FPC Future free of charge.
This year’s edition of FPC Careers will recognise how the rapid adoption of technology is creating exciting new career opportunities, as well as prompting a reconsideration of how sector skills are developed within the fresh produce industry.
To attract the very best, skilled candidates, FPC is working in collaboration with colleges and universities across the UK to invite undergraduates and postgraduates from all academic disciplines.
Candidates attending FPC Careers will be aged 18-30 years old and eager to carve out a career in fresh produce and its many related industries, including: retail, foodservice, logistics, packaging, technology and wholesale, as well as the general food and drink sector.
Already many of the industry’s leading employers have confirmed their participation at FPC Careers 2022. Sponsors include: headline sponsor AM Fresh Group, Barfoots, MorePeople, Morgan Cargo, MDS, and Worldwide Fruit.

Discover the future of agritech at FPC Future
On the same day our ground-breaking agritech event FPC Future 2022 will run alongside FPC Careers.
This exhibition and conference event will provide a vital insight into the future of agritech for the fresh produce and flower industries. FPC Future will lift the lid on the agricultural and horticultural innovations needed to safeguard the future of our food supply, such as vertical farming.
The focus for this year’s edition falls in line with the Government’s recently published Food Strategy, which plans to drive innovation and harness pioneering technology in the UK farming sector in order to help increase domestic production, spread jobs and grow the economy.
Visitors to FPC Future 2022 will experience a large exhibition of numerous international agritech companies and their innovations, products and services – all of which can help food and produce businesses to become more efficient, increase productivity and assist their workforce.
Furthermore, a Big Tech area will bring to life the agritech innovations of certain companies, such as Pixelfarming Robotics who will demonstrate their robot live on the day. A special area for Start-Up agritech companies will be on the floorplan too.
As part of the conference programme, speaker sessions with inspiring and insightful talks from industry experts will run throughout the day. A strong speaker line-up will be announced shortly.
Once again UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is participating as FPC Future’s Innovation Partner, while Lincoln Agri-Robotics (LAR) is Research Partner. Vertical farming technologies specialist GrowPura is a new headline sponsor for 2022. Morgan Cargo will sponsor the lanyards for a second year.
Already, numerous key exhibitors have signed up to participate at FPC Future, including: GrowPura; Lincs County Council & Greater LEP; CHAP; Agri Epi-Centre; Scorpion Vision; OAL; Lincoln Agri-Robotics (LAR); Commercial Horticultural Association (CHA); MHA Macintyre Hudson; Signify; Department for International Trade (DIT); Roythornes; Ellgia; JD Cooling; Lincoln Agri-Robotics; Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA); Gardin; AgRecruit. UKRI will exhibit as part of a new Innovation Village area.
Added to that, there will be a bigger Dutch pavilion for 2022, featuring: Certhon CMW Horticulture, Grodan, KG Greenhouses and Systems, Kubo, Pixelfarming Robotics, plus the Embassy of the Netherlands in the UK. More Dutch agritech businesses are set to sign up in due course.
Last year’s inaugural FPC Future and FPC Careers attracted over 850 visitors in one day.
